Have you seen the Rough Country hidden mount? If you really want to make a historic mount. Make one that doesn’t block the camera or adaptive cruise control sensor. That would be a first!
Same but would also like it to not interfere with ACC.
Same question I haveWhich bumpers would this work with? It appears to be the mod bumper in the pics. Will it work with the standard plastic bumper?
If it fits regular bumper , not mod, I'm sold!Mabett Front Winch Bumpers
I'm entering the market for external accessories and I'll get the best price for everyone, all you have to do is let me know if you'll buy it and if this product needs improvement

I like that one, a lot, but it's not compatible with the 2.7L. And apparently it's not compatible with the Mod bumper (they've recently updated their website to point out this fact).Have you seen the Rough Country hidden mount?
Yeah it's great but works only on one engine, and one bumper.Have you seen the Rough Country hidden mount?
I would as well, plus if they mix boron with their steel.Nice work. I'd be interested in seeing the structural specs. Gauge of steel being used, type of steel, weld specs, and internal strengthening used. Would also want to see some lab testing of the strength and integrity. With a big winch on it doing some heavy pulling...last thing you want is a catastrophic failure.
Also, will it be powder coated in the Ford Carbon Gray - M7 color code?

I talked to them a few weeks ago and they are making it where it can fit other bumpers. I don't know about what it would take to make out fit the 2.7L.I like that one, a lot, but it's not compatible with the 2.7L. just make it with and without the barI would prefer the welded bar. Maybe just make it with and without the bar?
Thanks for the suggestionI would say a "high rise" version that the winch mount area is just above the bumper. That way the mount plate can overlap the bumper to an extent or even for those willing to drill can drill into the top of the bumper to have the winch bolts go thru the top plate and bumper.
This way the winch can be "sucked up" or brought closer to the grill for a tighter fit and possibly improve the approach angle.
This may be a camera blocker but with slight revision the low mount could satisfy those users and the high mount those of us that do not have the camera and want a high and tight mount.
Just my .02.
