Eh, running stock 33's on non-SQ Badlands which comes with the crash bars. If the time comes when I wish to go to 35+ I'd just take them off like Ford does on Sasquatch models. I'll live with the increased "risk" . . . or not!

Is there increased risk tho? I’m assuming it was tested. I bet the smaller tires needed the bars because they were going into the passenger area while the larger tires were not.

I see no issue with aftermarket low profile bars. Ford’s may be effective, but where designed with bean counters in mind. It’s just a square tube with cheap black paint stuck in a square hole. Someone makes some machined aluminum ones. Just can’t find them at the moment. Why Ford didn’t just start with 35’s and crash bars, a phone and a few drinks and build around those I have no idea.

I can't seem to find it right now, but the OEM crash bars are made of very hard steel. One guy here went through multiple drill bits trying to drill through it.
