Agree, if you don’t want to leave them at home. Leave them wherever you sleep/slept that night. Your moms house, the tent, the hotel, etc if you’re that worried.Still don’t know why you can’t leave them in your tent. I mean, if you trust people to not steal your tent, food, and sleeping bags; a few doors should be safe as well. Less obvious than chaining them to a tree.
So, is this your set-up? If so, do you have more pics or instructions on what/how you built this? I have a hoist for the hard top roof but didn’t think about a contraption to hold the doors. Love the mobility and compact, but would like a way to put it in the air (hoist, I have two kids7/9 likely that one of them or their friend damages...LOCK UP YOUR DOORS - HOW?
- YOU HAVE DOORS ON FOR THE 4 HOUR DRIVE TO THE CAMP GROUND.
- FOR DRIVING AROUND THE CAMPING AREA, YOU WANT DOORS OFF.
- THERE IS NO WAY TO CHAIN THEM TO A TREE!
* BECAUSE THE DOORS HAVE FRAMELESS GLASS.
Q: WHAT DO YOU DO, HOW TO SECURE YOUR DOORS WHEN YOU ARE OUT PARKED AT A TRAIL HEAD OR SWIMMING OR FISHING?
* INSTALL EYE-BOLTS TO THE INSIDE OF THE PANELS SOMEHOW...?

At that age, I don't think my friends and I would have moved them. However, we probably would have taken the opportunity to sharpen our rock throwing skills with a little target practice.Forget master criminal and think more "bored teen"
Lil 15 year old chownd wouldn't have stolen them but there's a 50:50 chance that I would have moved them to make myself and friends laugh if we came across a set of car doors in the wilderness.
The question would be do we just turn them in the opposite direction, move to the left 20 feet, or hidden them behind a tree? God, I was a little shit.
I absolutely and certainly wouldn't do it now... but the mental image of someone finding their doors in slightly the wrong place while in the woods it's still something I find funny
I'd laugh my ass off if that happened to meForget master criminal and think more "bored teen"

small hinges with boltsWeird, how do they attach to the vehicle?
I could easily see this (and honestly it would be hilarious).Forget master criminal and think more "bored teen"

I was at rausch creek offroad park during a jeep event once and noticed the jeep guys locking their doors to their tow rigs/camp trailers etc. Presumably so they cant be stolen by other jeep owners.I can't believe I just read this thread. Who's going to travel off the beaten path to steal Bronco doors?
Is this what is meant by Ford calling the doors "frameless"? I've been trying to figure this term out and what it meant....so, it just means around the window, the glass, there's no door frame, right? You
theres no frame around the windows, like the jeep doors pictured. You could probably run a cable through the bolt holes or something though.
