Hello all and an early Happy Thanksgiving! 🦃
I have a 2024 Badlands 4 door with the Hoss 2.0 suspension. It is not a Sasquatch.
A few days ago I went to a reputable local shop that specializes in lift and leveling kits. They had ordered in a 2ā€ leveling kit and gave me an out the door price of $500.
I got a call around noon saying my Bronco has a 3.0 suspension (it doesn’t, I have the yellow shocks with the extra cylinder on them indicating a 2.0).
They said with this suspension I would need to replace the shocks/springs and it would cost approximately $2500.
I’ll admit it’s a confusing affair trying to find a 2ā€ lift for this hoss 2.0, but surely some of you have done the same thing without replacing the strut/spring assembly?
I’m asking for your feedback on your experience having this done and brand/part numbers for the 2ā€ kits.
Many thanks!

What kit did they order? I presume it's a puck style leveling kit? Shouldn't be any issue to install.

It was a puck style kit and they seemed hesitant because it has the electronic sway bar disconnect. šŸ¤·šŸ¼ā€ā™‚ļø

Was a spacer kit or perch collar?

Either way I would probably find a new shop.
Indeed I agree, but I live in a small town and next closest shop is a couple hours away. What surprised me was, they been doing lifts on all kinds of trucks for decades! The guy I was working with has been there for decades as well.

A couple of years ago I was looking for some help from the local 4x4 shops and every single one I spoke with said the Bronco was too new for them to work on and to talk to the dealer.

I did finally find one willing to look at it.. they took it apart, put it back together and said ā€œyeah you should talk to the dealerā€

So I just figured it out myself with a little help from the folks around here

The E stay bar is a non issue. You may want to check another shop or do it yourself... YouTube is your friend.

Go to Stage 3 Motorsports website. You will see your options. If you were closer I would do your install but I'm in PA. You can also go to my YT channel (It's The Carrs!) to see some Bronco suspension videos and other Bronco projects.

Yes, this grinds my bit as I was an ASE master tech for many years. A project like this would be right in my wheelhouse, but now I’m retired and my health is an issue. Plus, I live in an apartment building so there’s no place to work on this as well as selling all my tools. Ugh…

Too bad you aren’t close - I’d lend you my driveway and son to do the heavy lifting

I have a 2024 Badlands with the Sasquatch package and the Hoss 2.0 yellow shocks and I had a leveling kit installed at ORW (Off-Road Warehouse).
The kit was a 1.25" leveling kit with part number REA 66-21100 according to the invoice I have.
Googling the part number and you find this:

I have no issues with the leveling kit and/or alignment or any other issues.
