Hey I saw a pic of a OBX and I can’t tell if it has a lift kit on it or not? Or is it just big tires? Can anyone help me? I have a obx and want this look but I don’t know if I need a lift to obtain it.

thanks guys ! I’m a newbie :)

Looks like a 1" level kit.

Seeing how flat the LCA's are, I don't think it's a suspension lift. I would say either a leveling kit or a body lift, with the latter being more likely.

Are leveling kits cheaper and easier? I really want to obtain this look. I feel like it’s the perfect balance of beefing but not over doing it

I don't think either is expensive or particularly difficult.

Looking at the side shot, my guess is a spacer life of sorts. Id rule out the body lift due to no gap between the bumper and grill area. Also, UCA looks stock (I think anyways) so probably just a 2" or so spacer lift

I didn’t know a spacer can make a car look so different. Well spacers and tires . This is the look I’m going for and to be able to do it without a lift is great . I am wondering will this spacer make going off roading worse? Or will it not effect my off roaring performance

I ran a spacer kit before jumping over to the Eibachs coilovers. It does limit your articulation but as long as you know your limits, you can wheel with spacer IMO. That said, I would say save a little more and get an entry level coilover like the Eibachs.

Any pics of your car with the coilover?

This is a 3" lift over sasquatch height and on 37s with aftermarket UCAs too

The telltale for me is the angle of the rear LCA. On stock Hitachis it actually angles upward a bit to the axle, with 1.5" lift angles downward noticeably, and significantly as you see here with your 3". The OPs pic is hard to see because of the steps but it does have some lift, 1" to 2"?
