I wouldn't refer to Bronco as high end either. Maybe the Raptor.

I'm not exactly sure where things become "high end" these days since the average cost of a vehicle in 2025 was between 48-50k.

I know my Wildtrak was nearly 70k sticker and I haven't thought of it as a high end vehicle per se.

Depends on the local conditions ...if most everyone driving 12 yr old cars or cheapest new ones like in Canada then Wildtrack is highend. If many new $70K around then >165 is high end.

Isn't 70k Canadian dollars the equivalent of about 75 American dollars? I think I had burger and a few beers in Niagara Falls that cost me 70k Canadian.

Seriously though...70k Canadian is 50k American. So yeah...not high end. Average.

Im speaking in USD. In my locale USD 250 is common and the cars parked beside me in my condo are all $200-1M. USD besides a few new vettes.

Most cars on the street though are POS 12-25 yr old and cheapest newer cars avail I dont even know where they find this junk. Few years ago everyone had a new Q5,X5 and pick ups etc. Guess they were all exported to US.

It's not. Unless you're trying to lease a Ford Bronco or a Rivian R2. The companies intentionally make it tough on those vehicles for some reason.

Definitely better to buy vehicles and pay them off.

There are different schools of thought on that. My buddy has a truck that's been paid off for a year or two now. But every month he's throwing money at it to keep it going because now it's at high mileage. He just dropped $11k on repairs last month alone.

Some folks would rather make a payment every month and know that the payment they made is the ONLY money going out on a vehicle. Warranty coverage if something does happen, but since it's new likely not much will happen. It's just easier and more secure in a way.

On a lease the MSRP of the vehicle doesn't matter. It could be a $250k vehicle and it doesn't matter. What matters is the residual price and the money factor. ANY vehicle that has a high residual value should lease really well, UNLESS the automaker is screwing the lessee with a high money factor (interest rate). In the case of the Bronco, the residual values are VERY high, so if they offered a fair money factor the lease payments should be dirt cheap on them.....as they are on Wrangler. But Ford and Rivian are playing games.
