Learned that Jeep hate is real

My 2007 F150 crapped out unexpectedly in December and I had to buy a replacement. I got a gladiator and I love it. i saw my first privately-owned Bronco on the road today, top-off and in a stunning cactus gray (the color I would've got). i gave the proud new owner an enthusiastic wave and got one right back. The competition between fine Jeeps and fine Broncos will only make it better for us all. I don’t understand the hate.

I mean I do hate Jeeps, but not because "brand" reasons. But because I've worked on them and I hate of how piss poor the new ones are made. I'm a GM guy and I do not like Ford but I ordered a Bronco cause I think they're appealing and very well made. But after saying all that I would never look down on people for what they like. Hell I used to own a 99 Firebird and that thing was a hunk of junk but I still loved it so to each their own I guess.

Just curious.....how do you know Broncos are very well made?

Love it! Mine was a 2000 SE with the 6 speed... Had Flyin Miata coilovers, adjustable sway bars and Racing Dynamics Spec Miata race wheels. Sold it about a year ago...

I've been a huge car enthusiast my entire life, and the rivalry between manufacturers kills a lot of the fun for me. Being a fan of one manufacturer and hating the others is so childish and stupid. Whenever someone is a diehard of their own brand and looks down on others, regardless of what it is, I automatically assume the person is an insecure twitt, and I'm correct the majority of the time.

brand loyalty is stupid. Learned when I was in the rental business a long time ago that all manufacturers make good stuff, all make crap. Besides, why be loyal to a manufacturer? They aren't loyal to you.
TBH, the snide comments I have received on my Bronco have not been from Jeep owners, they have been in Bronco sites like this where I get attitude because its a 4 door, or isn't a Sasquatch so somehow my Bronco isn't a real Bronco.
Jeep owners that have approached me in person have been good and just wanted to see it.
