FWIW, my 2016 F150 2.7 calls for 6 quarts. I never check the oil level before or after an oil change. Just remove the filter, remove the fill cap, drain the pan for 30 minutes, replace filter, add 6 quarts, close the hood and do it all over again when the computer tells me to. Been doing that...
Exactly....I was thinking the same thing. All you need is a cell phone and AAA card. Now, my '65 VW bug is a different story. Can pretty much fix anything on the side of the road!
Personally, I wouldn't rush to sell it. You think you'll never put it back on, but I can tell you there are lots of Jeep TJ owners who wish they had both tops. Just saying, think about it long and hard (no pun intended!), before you let it go.
I'm really curious. You need a new car badly....and you really want a Bronco. Why? Seriously, what are, say, the top 5 reasons you want the Bronco vs. other options that are more readily available?
Might not work on a modern car, but I have a vintage VW with a roof rack. I stretch bungi cords very tight between the cross bars to keep them from "buzzing" at high speeds...(if you consider 60 mph high speed from a 40 hp engine!).
