So I've had my bronco taken in 3 times now for warranty fixes on the transfer case seal but they just can't seem to get it right. And now on the third attempt they also damaged my transfer case looks like with a pry bar or something..... Colorado springs chapel hills ford btw.... is there anyone that has had this issue with the seal??? And any fixes that I can just do myself so I don't have to get my parts more damaged and continue to be out of a vehicle another week?

Calling that “damage” is a bit theatrical.

That said - yeah no excuse for their three attempts though. If it sealed properly, those dings don't affect anything and I’d overlook - but if it still leaks…

Maybe time to try a different shop? That sucks, I'm sorry.

It was a new transfer case so it didn't come marked up like that so I'd says that's damage but if I don't have to worry about it that's good. I'll try a different shop. Thanks

states manage this differently, but usually the term "reasonable" number of attempts to fix is used. There's also years / mileage involved, but the OP's is a 2023 and likely still fits in the window. So there may be a lemon law element here indeed. I would think a 4th repair would be unreasonable for something that is subjectively a simple fix. And totally bring that to another dealer.

Yes, varies by state. I think for most it’s around 3 or 4 times for the same issue or number of days in the shop. I’ve had mine in the shop 6 times for monitor/radio issues, in the shop for a total of 117 days over a 2 year period. Replaced APIM twice. Not to mention several other issues, including leaking differential, hard top issues, back up camera failure, hood latch sensor failure, etc. Time to say goodbye, sadly. Believe it or not, still love my Bronco.
