That's unfortunately becoming more and more prevalent, incompetent or uncaring workers.Yeah it's more that the dealers in my area struggle even with an oil change and coated my engine bay in oil along with interior so something that actually requires more detail like this seems like a bad time
They are giving the really good technicians a bad name, and making it more difficult for customers to trust repair of their to the Dealership.
I know when my rear locking differential did not not work with less than a 1000 miles, Prior to the dealer taking it in for repair I insisted on the lead/head shop technician working on my Bronco and to meet with them before the repairs to discuss my expectations and my understanding the difficulty of the repair removing the differential carrier and ring gear.
