Leaking manual trans, section between trans and transfercase

So between the actual gear housing, and the transfer case, where the shift linkage connects more specifically. It was discolored 3k miles ago, like it had a weep. But yesterday during the oil change, it had a couple drips forming. Has anyone had this?
And in the photo with the red circle, is that a dowel pin or did a bolt head break off?

Has the transmission ever been out for repair? Either way, looks like tail section needs to be resealed.

The part you circled is a dowel. No bolt should be there.

Nope, no work of any kind on anything outside of filters, oil & tire changes...
I need to get that shock & camera recall done, but dealer says Ford hasn't offered a resolution on the shock issue.
