I’ve technically purchased 2 broncos in 1 year. I say technically because my 1st was recently totalled in an accident. I verified that vehicle on my off roadeo account when I bought it last september, and verified the new bronco a few days ago. I have 2 off roadeo credits in my account that are verified.

Emailed offroadeo folks asking if it would be possible for me to use my 2 credits for myself and my husband, to be seperate drivers on the same day. This would be a more enjoyable experience for us, as well as significantly cheaper.

They advised me that this wouldnt be possible. He would need his own off roadeo profile, and own verified purchase as a registered owner.

What gives? No exception can be made. Non transferable.

wanted to do offroadeo, but this leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

Edits: some added punctuation/ clarification.

I thought they were allowing transfers, or even one-time use second runs for used sales

I thought it was based on vin numbers - you have 2 vins -sounds like 2 drivers to me, assuming they are within the time frame and you haven't cashed in on either one yet.

I can recall a lot of folks on these forums having purchased multiple Broncos who have went multiple times. One guy went to all 4 (he did but four Broncos). And they don’t really care who is in the drivers seat - just the qualifying Bronco to get the ticket for entry

Maybe things have changed recently though

Thats assuming im either a) cool going solo or b) cool paying the $495/$595 guest fee twice.

Which tbh id rather not do either of those options.

Perhaps it is because you have only "technically" purchased two vehicles, and have not actually purchased two vehicles. Just a thought...

Lol ok my bad for saying technically. I have actually purchased 2.

Dont gotta be like that on a venting post.

Just trying to have fun with my husband at the off roadeo after dealing with my first bronco being totalled. Lot of money and stress gone dealing with that.

Seems there should be a way to do this, yeah I can totally understand what you want to do and it makes sense.

I can’t remember how it goes, but have your husband make an account and let him enter one of the two VINs there?

Hey Emily,

I was not trying to be mean or cruel, just wanting to clarify. As you do own two Bronco's, register your husband under one separate VIN number, and register you under the second VIN number.

Yes you will have two separate registrations, but that should allow you to both attend the same Off-Roadeo.

I would highly suggest that you both attend as they are well worth the time and effort to get to them, you will find them very beneficial.

Is there a reason not to put your spouse on the title as well? Just curious on the topic. My wife and I are joint owners on everything possible and I’m just wondering if there’s a reason not to do this? It’s never caused a problem and has a been beneficial a few times and would be in this scenario as well.

I get it that people leave on business trips/military deployments for months at at time and it’s not always possible; but I see a lot of single titled vehicles from married people. Curious if I’m missing something?

I could see a potential tax case if filing separately and one can claim mileage or depreciation or something as a business expense. Just one example - could be a lot of reasons.
