Thats what I thought too. But was told no.
That’s exactly what I did with my girlfriend, they transferred it and made it happen in Moab. It worked out great, but I had to have her registration on the website and it was then gifted to her.

I used my 2021 and 2023 Bronco for that last fall (October 2023).

I was the only registered owner on both Broncos.

The problem is you aren't talking to a human so they are taking your writing very specific.
Here is what you do to ensure you create a problem that they can solve. Right no you are asking hypothetical things, and all they can do is say no.

You have an account right now with 2 vins. Pick which one is going to be your spouse. Don't bring up anything about the situation of the bronco. Remember, you ARE NOT dealing with Ford here. You are dealing with a promotions company that get's their costs recovered by FORD but only in very specific ways. This is why they keep saying NO.

So setup an account for your spouse. Try to register the one VIN you decided the spouse would use.
Then go through support because it won't let you. Tell them your spouse must have mistakenly put it on their account, because they bought a bronco and had already signed up a while ago. Ask if there is any way so that vin can be assigned to you? Do this over the phone so you can work through what you need to do.

Never accept a “No” from someone who isn’t authorized to give a “Yes”. Too many gatekeepers out there. I hope you get this sorted out.

I bought my Bronco used, 6 months old and 3K miles, how do you find out if it would still qualify for the free Roadeo? I guess they are running a special right now for a free guest. Thanks

You can just call/email them, and provide them your VIN.

Thats assuming im either a) cool going solo or b) cool paying the $495/$595 guest fee twice.

Which tbh id rather not do either of those options.
You need a husband like my wife. When I did the Vegas off roadeo my wife spent the day on the strip spending the $600 (and then some) on massages and facials.
