@JTopsUSA I received my samples yesterday- I love both the black and titanium options. I like that the black is a little more opaque than the titanium. One of the things I’ve read is that the shade acts a bit like an air deflector for the rear seat occupants- this is important to me because I have kids in the back on a regular basis. Does the titanium deflect more air out of the rear because it’s more dense vs the black? I’m basing my final choice on back seat comfort- if there is no difference I’ll just go with the black. Thank you!

The differences are minimal at best. The major difference is the titanium blocks 90% of the uv rays and the black blocks 80%.

Damn the zippers sound like someone is just jingling keys right by my ear constantly. Why would it come with metal pull tabs on metal zippers?

Going to cut the pulls and find some kind of short fabric loop or something.

Yes they do. Check the plastic bag it comes in. They can get stuck.
If not send a request to [email protected] and they can send more.

Simple solution is to tuck the zipper heads. Works every time.

I just got my Jtopsusa Bimini shade and installed it last week. By myself.
This is a game changer!!
I love, love, love it!!!
My favorite accessory by far.
I have the soft top and MGV seats. Not too worried about rain as I can always pull over and close the top in a jiffy. Mine was a custom order with a photo I submitted. They did an awesome job with it. I am not sponsored or endorsed by them but you’ll see my photos on their website. The quality of the product was what sold me in the first place and their customer service is just as equal. They are a hard working company. They really listen to their customers and appreciate their input. This is a game changer for me as I use this for my mobile business. The sun beating down on me a couple of times was ok and I have a great tan now but burning the tops of my eye balls was not good. Or forgetting to put something on the seat to keep it from melting my legs. I haven’t had any of those issues since the install. Summer is going to be fun!

their videos are abysmal, at best...can you show a quick video of how the front works when you want to open and close the top?

The velcro application seems easy enough...wait 24 hours, then apply the top...take off the left and right brackets (I only have a soft top)...put the top on...put the bracket back on...got it...push the velcro down....sure...

However, the front part is not described well...any way to simplify it a bit or is it dummy proof (and yes, I'm probably a dummy)

Also, I see people run this without the soft top at all. I plan to keep the soft top on all the time and have this for when I take it back to the first position (or back further). I assume this is fine?

Got the heat gun out and applied electrical heat shrink tubing to the zipper pulls. Doesn't completely solve the issue but helps A LOT.

I just cut them off and I have a paperclip in my center console. There's no need to have something flopping all over the place up there

Really disappointed in my Jtops experience. They sent me the wrong top, twice, and are now ignoring me. I did not ask for anything other than the top that I ordered. Very poor customer support--for a problem they created. Totally disappointed. Would not recommend.

I appreciate your response and do understand that things happen. I got pretty frustrated by the experience, but maybe should have left that offline. I try to support US businesses so was willing to pay something more to do so.
On the bright side, I got a cheap Amazon version to hold me over for a recent beach trip. It's fine, but the material/design is definitely not as nice as even the incorrect JTop, which is why I still want to get the correct version.

Love to see great customer service. My velcro is on and I'm going to be putting the top on tonight...this should be a great addition as I want some of the UV protection and decreasing a bit of the wind in the back seat will be nice for the kids. Hopefully, the install is as easy as flopping it on, attaching some clips, and pulling down the velcro. As previously mentioned, the front may be a bit tricky?
