I think it’s time for Bronco Nation to come up with our own ā€˜thing’ and I’ve been working on some bad ass rear quarter stickers. Would anyone be interested in such shenanigans and smack talk merchandise? Of course this isn’t the final (or near design) I have in mind.

lol the only thing I hear in these threads about jeep ducks boils down to either jealousy that jeep people have a thing (we need a thing so let’s bash jeep people for liking ducks) or some toxic masculinity thing where they say ā€œJeep ducks are super g-a-yā€ or whatever homophobic nonsense is rattling around in your one lane brain, or I’m so manly if anyone even mentions ducks around my bronco I’m gonna bash your skull in…

lol fucking relax, nobody is questioning your manhood more than you are. Get over yourself. And stop trying to prove your worthiness to internet people.

but you do, beat this dead horse (pun intended) again. And again. Until another 21 yr old construction worker or 22 year old fresh out of the military buys a Bronco raptor and makes a new thread saying some of the same lame shit.

it never gets old.

Just get out and enjoy the trails and have a few beers or soda waters or whatever with a jeeper and talk about how you got hung up on your lower control arm but the jeep in front of you didn’t… ā€œguess I should have picked a better line the first timeā€ and have a stupid laugh because that’s what this is about, it’s not about ducks. And it’s certainly not about how much money you’ve dumped into your rig to bash ducky people.

From all the duck-related threads on this forum, I think the message is clear that the vast majority of Bronco owners don’t want a similar ā€œthingā€.
I think a lot of forum members would prefer to leave a horse ass, since we are a friendly and welcoming group.

I think folks in this community and in the Jeep community have forgotten the original reason for the ducks. Originally the ducks were handed out as a token of appreciation for a well built, good looking rig. It seems to have morphed into a oh you have a Jeep, here’s a duck kinda thing. I personally wouldn’t mind if someone left a Sasquatch or a Bronco or a note of appreciation for the work that I’ve done to my ride.

Careful what you wish for. Seeing the demographics of ladies that show up at Bronco meet/greets and events, you are more likely to get a pair of these:

This is false. There are no streaks running down the backside.

Still my fave "ducking":

Didn't really have anything to do with appreciation of a well built or good looking rig and you're supposed to pay it forward, not collect a dash full of bathroom toys, LOL

"The Jeep ducking craze started in Canada in 2020.Jeep ducking was kicked off by Canadian woman Allison Parliament back in 2020. After a bad encounter with an angry stranger left her feeling down, she decided to cheer herself up by buying a bag of rubber ducks and leaving one with a note on a stranger’s Jeep. The kind gesture was shared on social media, where it went viral.
If you find a rubber duck on your Jeep, share a pic of it on social media and pass the duck along to another Jeep owner."

Please don't touch my Bronco, you might get shot... My wife feels the same way about her jeep and gets really mad about strangers lurking around her vehicle.

It’s a shame you just about can’t compliment a vehicle because of the whole jeep/duck thing.

Well, this is one of 99 threads discussing ducking, and whether it should be adopted in some form for Broncos. Most comments in here are layered in sarcasm or are tongue-in-cheek. So many of our members don’t get the humour in poking at each other. Oh well. Can’t wait til the next noob asks about it…

I think you found it!

The Bronco version of ducking is to complain and joke about ducking whenever someone asks about ducking.
