Despite May disliking the Stroppe on the road, I really enjoyed his Texas adventure. If only I could have been at the Houston Total Wine & More where he was promoting his gin!

I still can't wrap my head around the price tag for the Stoppe edition, how do they justify that price tag for just a different paint scheme than the 2 dr sasquatch.

It is essentially a 2 door Heritage Limited with Hoss 3.0 Fox shocks, and the paint job... Including the flares.
But with a wash out interior.

Too bad he didn’t get to properly take it off road to see why we put up with all the trade offs on road. That’s like taking a Corolla to the Off Roadeo and saying the car sucks

I loved Top Gear and even watched the Grand Tour, but May (aka Captain Slow) can be bit of a Dolt sometimes. If he was testing a Land Rover with the same ride, he would be choking the chicken as he was driving.
He is entertaining for sure.

Yes, reliability is not their strong suit.

Frankly, the proper Toyota Land Cruiser (now only available in Lexus LX form) is the vehicle I would choose if I needed to drive from the arctic to the tip of South America, with plenty of off road journeys along the way.
