Really interested in hearing people’s experience with Jackery.

With the prime day deals… I can’t decide on the solar generator plus 2,000 or 1,000 w/2 solar panels.

Anyone use & like these ?

The older version of jackery 1000 with 2 solar panels is fine for weekend trip. But for folks who are doing week long stay or have electric heater for winter trips. Anker 767, ecoflow delta 2 max and bluetti with 2k+ Wh would be a better deal for prime day.

well yeah, a better deal, and in fact a damn good one right now, but they're also ENORMOUS.

@604Bronco has a Jackery and can probably chime in with his experience.

Side note, I went with the Bluetti AC180 and am happy with mine with the little I have tested it.

No, you misheard me - I said I bought a jack-in-the-box. Pretty awesome to keep me occupied on a rainy day though!

I love my Jackery - I use it primarily for power outages, and it has been amazing. It powers a few high power-consuming appliances at once, and the charge lasts quite a long time. It’s easy to use, well-built, and so far I have nothing negative to say about it.

I have the 1000 Pro with 2 panels..... had it for a year, and have used it a half dozen times. Never had a problem with it, and it charges fast plugged in for recharging. only used the panels once so far, but they worked as expected, and again, no problem. You shouldn't need anything more than a 1000 for camping, or emergency use at home.

You need to decide what you're going to power and for how long, then size accordingly.

Jackery, Bluetti, Anker, Goal Zero, Ecoflow and probably a gazillion 3rd string brands make these things now. There's a few youtubers that put them through their paces.

I have had a Jackery 300 for a couple years now I use for small travel power. So far it's never let me down. In fact, last month it recharged the battery in my F350 enough to get the truck started after a parasitic drain.

If I were to buy a larger capacity one now (1kW+) I would definitely make sure to get one with LiFeP04 battery chemistry for the greater recharge cycles.

I have the first gen Jackery 1000 since introduced and a couple 100 w panels. For 2-4 day campouts the setup works well to run my Dometic CFX3 55l and charge basic phones, mattress inflators, and run some lighting. I was an early adopter, have also used my friends 1500 which is def bigger and heavier.

When out with the fridge, I plug the fridge into the Jackery, and the Jackery into Broncos 12v outlet. When camping and staying put plug in the solar panels which seem to do a good job throughout the day charging it back up.

I have a couple of camping friends with the Ecoflow Deltas as well, they charge significantly faster from 110v.
No issues with my Jackery, if I had to get something from scratch today I’d probably go with the Ecoflow lineup but both are great.
