Personally I would not mount a kicking Bronco such that it kicks its own name. Unless you don't like your Bronco.

First time coming across any of your threads on this but I fo agree that placing any possible projectile in front of an air bag (if there is even one at that spot but hood chances there are) might be more dangerous for your pasdenger than the multiple explosive Takata devices hiding in plain sight, some which are aimed directly at your head. Air bags are not spring loaded

Here's a video (link below) showing the passenger side airbag deploying. Hard to tell what becomes of the front covering. The deploy could potentially launch the emblem into the cabin.

Odds of getting into an accident and the emblem injuring someone? Probably rather low. Leastways it would be low on my list of worries. Sitting on the couch eating potato chips worried about flying emblems will probably injure with a future cardiac event before the airbag launch does. :)

What happened here?

Emblem fell off (odds: 1-1)
Bronco got taken away (odds: 2-1)
Airbag deployed and imbedded into imaginary GF (odds: 5-1)
Airbag deployed and launched emblem into another car (odds: 10-1)
Finally realized it was a stupid ass idea and took it off (odds: 1000-1)
