Ok I left my battery charger on for several days, but I connected it on the outside of the negative battery saver device versus on the terminal. I have not had a problem for a week. Not weirdness. I have been daily driving it and also letting it sit for a 1.5 days...no issues. So I really think they way I was charging it was not letting the car know that it was being charged.
