Issues After My Latest Update

Has anyone been experiencing issues since the last update? I received updates Jan 10, Jan 12, and Feb 8, and after this last one, I've had a host of issues mostly around Android Auto.

The issue I now have that appears to be with sync is with my phone. At one point, it wouldn't even allow me to delete a phone. Now, it seems to only allow me to use AA, but not use the phone to dial out. It keeps telling me that "sync is downloading your contact list". I have to actually make the call from the phone and then sync seems to pick it up. I finally got sync to allow me to delete the phone and re-pair it, but that hasn't fixed the issue.

Has anyone else run into this issue and can offer a suggestion?

Did you do a firmware update on the phone as well. As an Apple user, when the truck updates, I immediately download the latest firmware for iOS and then let that complete, then reboot the phone. It usually takes a drive cycle or two to get everything back on the same planet. The software updates involved in tethered applications sometimes require both ends to be on the latest and greatest, including reboot/launch to execute all the latest coding.

Thanks for the suggestion... I am up to date with updates on my phone and have turned it on/off a couple of times already prior to this.

Same issue here. Have had the Bronco for 3 days, and am quite disappointed with Sync. Can call using touch screen and AA, but Sync voice control continues to say that it is downloading contacts. Each time I reset Sync, I get a different variation of pairing prompts. I have also noticed that the Ford Pass app does not allow for contact permissions.

Sync 4 simply sucks. I had to drive a truck with sync 3 and my old one with sync 1 while my Bronco was being repaired from a rear end accident. Both of the other versions worked perfectly all the time. Sync 4 will go out and stop working and flip back and forth between car play and sync over and over when I'm in a low signal area. It freezes up and gives me all kinds of problems. I had to plug my phone in to a cord to get car play to work the yesterday like some kind of sync 3 peasant. I have no installed the looming update, either.

My Carplay isn't working... stopped working on my wife's explorer too. I'm really worried about Ford's software team. A lot of new people over there.
