Hello, I have a 2025 base model and I wanted to put the after market raptor style tail lights on it because I hate the halogen ones.
I purchased them in late December in 2025 so it’s only been a couple of months since I’ve had them. Suddenly, the right side turn signal failed and didnt work. The lights themselves work though, but the turn signal stopped working. I took it apart and try to make sure everything was connected properly and everything and it was fine, so I told the manufacturer and they sent me a new ones and I had to pay 50 US to send the old ones back.

I’ve only had the new ones for one day and then the same problem started happening on the left side. I figured out that it’s the module that connects in between the light and the car. One of the modules is having the problem. I switched the modules and lights to each other side and figured out that the module was the problem. Now I told the manufacturer just now what’s going on and they are saying I’m already out of warranty and they’re not sending me another module and they’re not helping me anymore. I purchased them through eBay.

I’ve done the install and uninstall like 10 times and it’s taken hours each time, I’m at my wits end with this, and I don’t know what else to do. I don’t make a lot of money and I saved up to buy these lights.

I thought at least they would have one year manufacturer warranty as well.

I used a cleaner and then a dialectic grease and that didn’t work. I really need help please. I really like the lights and I don’t want to go back to the stock ones because I hate the way that they look.

It seems as though someone recently posted the same issue. If I recall the dealer was able to was able to do a module update. It may have been posted in the Raptor threads.

These ones
https://www.ebay.com/itm/187832410542

These were the only ones I could find on eBay that had the extra wire needed for the brake light on base models and big bend

these are third-party aftermarket that I have. I’m not sure if they are set up the same way as OEM ones.

You didn’t clarify if they were headlights or taillights- unless I missed that… I have Raptor take off headlights. No issues whatsoever 100% plug and play with my OEM-non-signature lighting standard Black Diamond.

everything I have see(because I wanted to upgrade the taillights to LED- is it requires forscan changes to the BCM because there is no wires to run the LED lighting. You can bypass this with the LED taillights by just having the red part as the blinker and not the amber blinker.

you would probably be better off with aftermarket Raptor style LED tails. Plenty on Amazon

Yes, I got those same aftermarket ones. I mentioned that they are aftermarket. They are not OEM. Oh OK I’m not very familiar with the stuff you’re talking about. What exactly do I do?

That’s super frustrating, especially after going through install that many times. From what you’re describing, it really sounds like the control module inside the light is failing, which unfortunately is pretty common on some of the lower-cost aftermarket options. Once those go, you end up chasing wiring/connection issues when it’s really just the internal electronics giving up. Not much you can really “fix” long-term at that point aside from replacing the unit, which we know isn’t what you want to hear after already dealing with it this much.

If you do end up swapping them out, we’d just look for something that’s fully plug-and-play with solid build quality and actual support behind it — makes a huge difference vs. rolling the dice again. We'd recommend brands like Morimoto, Form, or (obviously?) our stuff at Oracle! We do have a set of LED tails for the Bronco that are designed to be pretty straightforward and reliable, and we’ve got some sale promos coming up next month if you decide to go that route. Either way, hope you get it sorted soon, stuff like this is the worst!

Honestly you get what you pay for. The only company that I am aware of with tails that work on all models is Form Lighitng. And that is because they provide an additional harness which pulls the signal power from another source then the tail lights.

Non-LED equipped Broncos have issues with aftermarket tails because the truck is looking for resistance from the halogen bulbs. Going to LED it uses less power and the manufacturers are having issues finding resistor kits that work. SOO what Form does on the halogen-equipped trucks is they provide a different harness to use which pulls that power from another source, making them work. Other manufactures don't provide this extra harness and in turn, you have issues.

Also... $250 for a pair of tail lights... you're not going to get anything quality and you're going to have issues time and time again.

Best to go with the Form that just WORK. Morimoto are nice but when it comes to halogen equipped trucks, you'll have issues. And other manufactures also have issues. Soooo stick with the Form Lighting ones if you want tails to just WORK

No we don't sell OEM lights and you'll have issues trying to run OEM tails on your base truck because of the resistance required

I mean raptor style non oem
You mean the ones where you see all the individual LED diodes inside the tail light? No we don't have something like that. Customers usually complain if they see all the diodes so a lot of manufacturers try to avoid that look.

The Form look like this, but work on a base Bronco
