Greetings all, I already have a ProCal tune in my ‘24, 2.7 automatic. Very happy with it. Because we all search for more power
I purchased the Evolv chip as they promise more hp and better fuel economy on top of the ProCal tune.
I assumed that this chip would plug into the diagnostic connector to do its thing. It does not. It actually hooks up (only 2 wires) to the intake air temperature sensor and manipulates the reading going to air/fuel and timing management.
I have not hooked this up because to me (a 30+ year ASE Master with a degree in electronics, retired) it just doesn’t seem to hit right.
They promise up to 35 hp and 3-5 mpg increase.
I’d appreciate your thoughts and experiences with this ‘miracle’ chip.
