Ford Performance Tune using loyalty points?

My loyalty points are expiring and wondering if I can put them toward the Performance Tune. I've checked the online catalog for accessory options but nothing there about the tune. Anyone know how these points work at the dealer service counter? Is it just a discount option I need to bring to them?

Ford Performance Parts uses the Ford Accessory store for checkout. So as long as you aren't in the handful of states that prohibit it (Arizona, Vermont, etc.) then you can buy the tune from Ford online and use FordPass points during the checkout. Just make sure you're logged into your Ford account on the Ford Accessory store.

At the dealer service/parts counter you just ask them to apply the points towards your balance when you go to check out. Anything the points doesn't cover you'll have to pay for with some other means. They will look up your FordPass account using your email or your member ID (can be found in the FordPass app). Not all dealers participate in the FordPass program though, so make sure you ask them ahead of time.
