I have an older inverter installed in my PW but that is all standard outlets. I am looking to put a multi port USB inverter in the Bronco for a road trip with the kiddos to charge their everythings. What are you guys running?

I have two of these Ankers, cant recall which

https://www.amazon.com/stores/Anker/page/E9916F7F-DBE2-49BC-8490-A1D905BFA26E

One in the center console cubby power point and one in the rear cargo for my Starlink

You will probably need multiples of units like these unless you want to run a new wire up to the battery - the power points can only deliver so much power each, and are known to overheat and die if you try to overdo it

Last trip we used this - and it’s on all road trips now up front because of the extra variety of ports, fast-charge ports, and decent capacity on a 12 VDC plug in circuit. We haven’t used all ports at once to test out whether it cooks, but I’m sure your kids can find that out soon enough.

Also have used a variety of these on the back seat power port, to charge USB accessories like power bricks and lights while driving so they aren’t tangled up front. There are high capacity ones that are clunkier but have more ports and probably can run anything they throw at it.

Plus the dual port one suggested above, we have a few of those Ankers around too.

Sorry I misunderstood - in that case, I’ve had inverters installed on previous trucks and this one came with one; I still make use of a power bank for the big stuff. So of installing a single purpose inverter, nowadays why not do what this guy did or similar. When I had to work on the road, and didn’t want to worry about power points on/off depending on the truck running status, I did this. You get always-on AC and DC power to run anything you size it for, and you get portability for camping or home power outages. For probably cheaper than you can cleanly install an inverter on a Bronco; use this along with the USB expanders and an AC power strip and you’ve got everything covered for a good value.
