Incredibly simple using Bronco upfitter switches!

You literally cut off half of the wiring harness, and you don’t use the relay. Simply tie the 2 red positives together to the preferred aux switch wire by firewall; and attached ground to the point right next to it. So fast and easy! No fighting getting things through firewall is amazing.

Had some wire cover laying around and covered the wires behind the lights with it and it turned out great!

Love the old school look and I've wanted to run them, but I only find them in white. I want amber. Does anyone know if I can just swap out the bulbs?

It’s like a yellowish light already not like the white of headlights. But I’m sure you could just swap bulbs.

Well done. I just installed the 5” Kc Apollo Pros too. I’ve never done anything like it before, so took me a long time to make sure I was not doing something wrong by cutting off all the extra wires/relays. I got it working and used some electrical tape (like you did, to cover the red wires on the pillar). I also ran the wire under the cowel, which was super easy. My only issue is that the connector harness next to each light is exposed (above the pillar) because the wire length doesn’t allow it to hide under the pillar. — did you have that issue?
I used black plastic wire cover that you can get at auto parts store to cover the wires from cowl to lights. The passenger side plug went under the cowl, but driver didn’t, but the plastic cover covered the plug that was exposed.

Thanks, I’ll get some of that instead to cover it. This what it looks like currently.
Also, did yours come with that Mount? , Mine had a different one which blocks the antenna.

You gotta use the mount to mount the light to the accessory points. Looks like you got just the light mounted to the point. I actually have a brand new set of KC light mounts for the bronco they sent me another set after USPS lost my first order, and they appeared one day in my mailbox. They’re like $75 but just pay for shipping and they’re yours. Comes with instructions as well.

I’m interested. But how did yours mount to that bracket with a single bolt from the bottom? Mine is built on a hinge, so the bolt goes sideways to secure it.
*Maybe yours is the 6”, and designed different than my 5”
It’s the same. You have the hinge, and that bottom L shaped piece with the large bolt. That will bolt to the bracket, and then you remove both of the accessory screws and mount bracket there and replace screws. It raises the lights and puts them to the side so not in the way of antenna etc.

look closely at these pics. You can see the same part that’s on your light mounted to bracket.
