@Brian_B & @HeliPilot I'm starting to think we've got different soft tops... I contacted Bestop (maker of the Ford OEM soft top) and they responded that their's doesn't fit the Ford Bronco Raptor specifically because of the center crossbar.

The soft top I bought from my local ford dealer is Trektop for Bronco 4-door (part 56873). Are you guys using a different soft top?

You are correct - you have a different top & I have no experience with the BesTop so my info/ details don’t pertain to your inquiries.

FYI - BesTop makes a soft tip specific to the G6 Bronco however, the OEM top is the Ford produced & supplied version.

I think I am just going to go with the Broadict 2/3 soft top but have found new in box OEM soft tops on marketplace cheaper. So know you have me thinking.

which soft top do you have? does it just fold back from front to back seat or does it retract all the way to the rear cargo area?

The Ford top retracts all the way down to the tailgate. It’s the one in my photos previously posted. I thought maybe you had the Ford Supplied BestTop when you were talking about rails. The Factory top only has 4 brackets. 2 on top and 2 in the cargo area.

The soft top is the easy part - the supplemental brackets & parts were a bit challenging to acquire but with some perseverance, you will prevail!

Do you know the part number for that top?
I believe it’s this —> M2DZ-7853000-BG
But, please do your own research to confirm.

I remove none of the hardware when I swap back to my hardtop. Though, I do adjust my front (windshield) latch plates when I swap, as the alignment pins from each top hit in slightly different places. I’m sure I could adjust that out somewhere else, but those two latch plates are the easiest to access.
thats good info, I keep wanting to go to a dual top setup, just haven't yet.

Yes you can swap them. Bought a OEM soft top from a gal who ordered dual tops and didn't want it.
Brought it home on the pallet and installed it about 6 weeks ago. When the weather turns colder in the fall will take it off and put the hard top back on. Got it hanging in the garage for the moment.

I have the bestop and just remove the cross bar in summer. You can modify it to work with a minor cut but I like the full open feeling.
