That's pretty cool, I never thought about making those. You want some lettering to adhere to it hit me up and I'll cut ya some out. I make these.

You may be able to find white LED (set inside) screws that would diffuse light across the acrylic. It's common practice to put LEDs on the edge of acrylic, pointing inwards, light up cuts or frosted sections... there's a way.
