Well the star pattern is a torx type. Size idk. Does your tool kit come with torx bits?

Unbelievably yes many with that pattern but none fit the ring bolt.

How bad do we think it is to drive with the rings off? If dirt gets in those screw holes. I guess I can wash out before reinstalling if I want to drive mid painting project.
