+1 on the anti-sieze. I get frequent rock rash on the trails we run, so makes it easy take off, sand, and rattle can. I have not had 1 bolt works its way loose with anti-sieze. I don't think there is any reason to use locktite on these, the bolts don't work themselves loose on their own.
I am considering just removing them before we hit the trails to make life easier, don't see much of a downside. I don't plan on ever running Beadlocks, which might be the only concern to running without them and scuffing up the rim itself?

About the only way to get the yellow factory threadlocker off, without spending hours picking at it, is to run the bolts thru a M10x1.5 die. I tried using just a bolt... too much slop. The die cleaned them right up.

I was going to take off my Trim rings, but they would not budge. I’m assuming it is a 40 torx plus? I don’t want to strip anything out or damage anything. I guess I need to get out my breaker bar and try to gently remove them as best I can.

Mine all came out easily, just slowly apply increased pressure until the yellow thread lock releases, and then they will all come out without stripping. I then reinstalled with anti-seize.

I’ve taken them off 2 Broncos. Used a die to clean up the bolts. Yellow stuff came off looking like spaghetti squash.

Bolts went in smoothly with loc tite.
