Ok. Reality check: When will these really be available to ship (not just order)?
I wish I could give you definite dates. But here's the best info I can give you from what I know. First is to admit that in general, our coilover production faces similar lead times to what the rest of the industry (FOX, King, etc.) are currently struggling with, but perhaps slightly less since we're a smaller company. For us, and I suspect the other companies as well, the shortages are mostly due to the coil springs, which are the only major component we do not manufacture in-house, and the coil spring manufacturers that all of us use have been struggling to keep up with demand and supply constraints (we Bronco folks know all about that). So for ICON, our "normal" coilover orders are currently on a 20+ week lead time because of those constraints.

That said, we do have early production runs already in the pipeline for these Bronco kits. So there will be some availability fairly soon. My best guess is that would be just a few weeks from now. But depending on demand, I can't say how long that initial supply will hold out. After those are spoken for, I'm guessing subsequent orders will be subject to our normal production scheduling, along with the lead times that come with it.

So the best bet is to get with your dealer as soon as you can to inquire, get on their pre-order list or whatever. I'm not sure how those early units will be apportioned among our dealers but I'm guessing they will be sold first-come first-served.

We JUST sent out the dealer communication on these yesterday. I literally posted here within an hour of sending out that NPA to our dealers, so you guys probably know about it before the phone guy at most of our dealers will know anything. It will take most of them at least a few days to digest the information and get it added to their websites and ordering systems. But I know there are some who will be quicker than that, and some probably already have it listed.

Great to see...guessing I'm sitting at stage 5. Also interested in that rear bumper...and what you have for a front bumper option. Is pricing going to be issued soon? Any Bronco6G discounts??🤞🤞 Now...all is need is for ford to come through with damn Bronco!😜
Pricing has been sent to our dealers along with everything else they need in order to post info. I won't quote pricing here because dealers have some leeway to set their own prices, subject to our MAP policy. Unfortunately we can't offer discounts directly as it will violate our own MAP policy. We do not undercut our dealers, and we actually set our own prices slightly higher than MAP to give our dealers the advantage.

I had figured 10g for stage 7.
I know Tiyoda guys love Icon.
Any tuning included?
They come pre-tuned for the application, with what our engineers feel is the best all-around valving for the vehicle. But ICON coilovers are fully revalve-able and rebuildable, so if you decide you want to further dial in your shock tuning , that's possible to do by a qualified shock tuning technician, with replacement parts from ICON.

Do all dealers have equal access to your products (filled in order received), or will lead times depend on where we purchase?

What about CV axle angles in the font when lifting? Any need to lower the front diff like some of the other lift kits? Will you be offering a kit to do just that?
@Dusty at ICON

I'm interested in the answer as well. With the increased travel/height and the fact that Badlands/SAS CVs are maxed out from factory at max droop, how do we stop the CVs from blowing up?

If you have a solution, I'll throw my name on the list to preorder right now.
Following, specifically interested in the answer to the CV angles questions.
Since so many of you have asked this one, I went downstairs this morning to ask Dylan, our head of engineering, about this specifically. According to Dylan we have specifically designed the droop limit in order to protect the CV's from damage, along with steering components and ball joints. Of course the steering components are still subject to their inherent weakness that has been discussed at length elsewhere in this forum. But ball joints (especially the lower, which doesn't get replaced by our kits, all of which do include new UCA's with the Delta Joint PRO upper joint) and CV's should still be within their acceptable operating range. The geometry of the front suspension would actually allow for even more travel, but we hold it at 11.5" in order to protect those components. The kit places as much emphasis on optimizing up-travel too. That's why we can only get the 11.5" travel spec when using 35" tires. For 37's the kits require the 1" up-travel limiters to keep the tires from eating the fenders.

I hope that answers your questions. If you have any further questions let me know and I'll try my best to get answers for you.

I'm not familiar with our ordering process but as far as I know, any of our dealers can place orders for any of our products. I don't know yet whether that early production run will be subject to any sort of special apportionment. We do have a couple of special projects that will be fulfilled out of it, but other than those, I'm pretty sure its first-come, first served. If I hear differently I will let you guys know.

Another question @Dusty_at_ICON

what offset would ICON recommend for the 35 and 37in tires?

Thinking mostly between the 0 and +25 ICON PRO's. with one of these kits.

Engineering department recommends
• For 35" x 12.50" tires: ICON Alloys | 17x8.5" w/ 5.75” Backspace / 25mm Offset
• For 37" x 12.50" tires: ICON Alloys | 17x8.5" w/ 4.75" Backspace / 0mm Offset

Of course you can run any brand of wheel you prefer, but those are the recommended specs.

ICON Vehicle Dynamics is excited to announce Stages 3 through 8 of our Complete Suspension Systems for 2021+ Ford Bronco!

20220216_0158-1200w.jpg

ICON Vehicle Dynamics is excited to announce Stages 3 through 8 of our Complete Suspension Systems for Bronco! Aimed at improving on- and off-road performance and ride quality, all of these systems feature custom valved ICON 2.5-inch diameter Coilover Shocks for Bronco, with custom front coil springs and triple-rate rear coil springs yielding 3" to 4" of lift over stock, depending on model*. To accommodate the increased travel we are able to squeeze out of the Bronco's suspension, all kits feature replacement front Upper Control Arms utilizing ICON's patented Delta Joint PRO. Higher Stages feature additional shock technology and performance additions as well as links and suspension components which have been engineered to maximize performance.

IVD-BroncoA-05-2400w.jpg

These systems are designed to provide up to 11.5" of front suspenion travel and 14" of rear suspension travel when used with 35X12.50 tires. They may be safely used with 37" and larger tires if using the optional up-travel limiters (sold separately). The factory crash bars (non-Sasquatch equipped Broncos) must be removed to clear 35" and larger tires, but ICON now offers a replacement High Clearance Crash Bar set for those who would like to run larger tires and retain the functionality of the crash bars.

All of these ICON Coilovers and Suspension Systems feature:
  • Improved suspension performance and ride quality over stock
  • 14" Rear Travel; 11.5" Front Travel with 35" tires
  • Vehicle specific tuned front and rear shocks for superior damping and vehicle control
  • Adjustable coilovers from 2.5-4" of lift height (factory set at 2-3")
  • PTFE lined spherical bearings and application specific mounting hardware
  • 6061 Aircraft grade aluminum CNC machined components
  • Corrosion resistant CAD plated coilover shock body with 7/8 shaft
  • High strength alloy CNC machined lower bar pin
  • 100% Bolt-on system - no drilling, cutting, or welding necessary for install
  • Tubular or billet UCA for added strength, durability and an additional degree of caster for better drivability
  • UCAs feature the Delta Joint Pro with 90 degrees of total articulation.
  • Featuring a rear triple rate coil design
  • Rear coilovers are in a shaft up configuration for maximum travel.
Each of our Complete Suspension System stages are built around our precision engineered, race proven ICON shock technology, with increased features and performance with each higher stage. Here is a summary of each Stage, including the additional features each has over the previous stages:

STAGE 3: MAXIMUM TRAVEL
ICON Coilover Suspension Systems for Bronco start at Stage 3 and feature our precision-manufactured, custom valved Internal Reservoir coilover shocks to yield the maximum travel possible along with superior ride quality and suspension performance both on- and off-road. ICON coilover shocks are fully rebuildable. Our coil springs are custom engineered specifically for Bronco. To accommodate the increased travel afforded by the ICON Coilovers, Stage 3 comes with tubular or billet Upper Control Arms which provide caster correction and feature our patented Delta Joint PRO, which allows for up to 90-desgrees freedom of movement. The rear shocks are oriented shaft-up with unique triple-rate coil springs to achieve the most rear suspension travel possible.
K40003T_web_large.jpg

STAGE 3 Includes:
  • BRONCO FRONT 2.5 VS INTERNAL RESERVOIR COILOVER KIT
  • BRONCO REAR 2.5 VS INTERNAL RESERVOIR COILOVER KIT
  • BRONCO TUBULAR or BILLET UCA KIT WITH DELTA JOINT PRO

STAGE 4: INCREASED COOLING UNDER HARD USE
To provide for sustained shock performance at speed through rough terrain, Stage 4 adds remote reservoirs to the ICON Coilovers. Reservoirs greatly increase shock oil volume and heat dissipation surface area to resist overheating and cavitation under hard use, which can lead to damper fade.
K40004_web_large.jpg

STAGE 4 Includes:
  • BRONCO FRONT 2.5 VS REMOTE RESERVOIR COILOVER KIT
  • BRONCO REAR 2.5 VS RREMOTE RESERVOIR COILOVER KIT
  • BRONCO TUBULAR or BILLET UCA KIT WITH DELTA JOINT PRO

STAGE 5: UPGRADED REAR SUSPENSION
Stage 5 begins to free up the Bronco's rear suspension articulation while gaining strength and ground clearance with the addition of ICON rear lower suspension links. Available in either billet or tubular versions these links employ dual-durometer greaseless bushings at one end, and a massive FK rod end at the other to provide the best combination of free articulation and ride quality. The billet lower links provide the additional benefits of on-vehicle adjustability and replaceable rock skids.

STAGE 5 Includes:
  • BRONCO FRONT 2.5 VS REMOTE RESERVOIR COILOVER KIT
  • BRONCO REAR 2.5 VS REMOTE RESERVOIR COILOVER KIT
  • BRONCO TUBULAR or BILLET UCA KIT WITH DELTA JOINT PRO
  • BRONCO TUBULAR or BILLET REAR LOWER LINK KIT

STAGE 6: DIAL IN YOUR PERFORMANCE
Stage 6 features ICON's exclusive Compression Damping Control Valves= (CDCV) for precisely dialing in your suspension performance. CDCV controls fluid flow under compression, allowing you to achieve the perfect tune whether driving on the street, slow-crawling through the rocks or mobbing across the desert at full throttle.
K40006_web_large.jpg

STAGE 6 Includes:
  • BRONCO FRONT 2.5 VS REMOTE RESERVOIR WITH CDCV COILOVER KIT

STAGE 7: PRECISION REAR END ALIGNMENT
Stage 7 builds on our CDCV system by adding the complete rear link kit including upper links and ICON's Adjustable Rear Track Bar. Upper and Lower Rear Links are available in either tubular or billet versions. The added upper links have been designed for clearance from the fuel tank during maximum articulation. The Adjustable Track Bar features our dual-durometer greaseless bushing and FK Rod End, as well as on-vehicle adjustability for perfectly aligning the Bronco's rear axle for any lift height.
K40007T_web_large.jpg

Focus on driving and let ICON Intelligent Control (IIC) read the terrain and make near-instant adjustments via the Compression Damping Electronic Valve (CDEV) at each individual shock. Control the system wirelessly through the IIC app on your phone. Once configured the system functions without driver input.
K40008_web_large.jpg

STAGE 8 Includes:
  • BRONCO FRONT 2.5 VS RR CDEV COILOVER KIT
  • BRONCO REAR 2.5 VS RR CDEV COILOVER KIT
  • BRONCO ICON INTELLIGENT CONTROL MODULE & INSTALL KIT

  • BRONCO TUBULAR or BILLET REAR UPPER LINK KIT
  • BRONCO TUBULAR or BILLET REAR LOWER LINK KIT
  • BRONCO REAR ADJUSTABLE TRACK BAR KIT

IMPORTANT TECH NOTES
  • 2-Door models will sit slightly higher than 4-door due to weight difference. For all models, final lift height is subject to variations due to equipment weight and load-out.
  • When running 37" tires, Up-Travel Limiters are required to prevent tire contact with wheel well liners at full compression. These are sold separately (p/n 611075 front; p/n 611074 rear)
  • On Broncos equipped with factory crash bars (non-Sasquatch models), ICON High Clearance Crash Bars are recommended when running up to 35" tires.
  • When running 37" tires, factory crash bars (if present) may need to be removed, and further trimming may be required, to prevent rubbing (not recommended by ICON).
These Complete Suspension Kits will be available for pre-order soon, contact your favorite Authorized ICON Dealer or watch this thread to be the first to know when ordering opens on the ICON website!
I was waiting on the ICON CDEV Coliovers. I'll either get the stage 8 separately to reduce upfront costs or save for the entire pkg. Bronco and all of its high-tech just pairs well with shocks that have computer-controlled shock dampening. Way to go ICON!!!

I wonder what the numbers are for 37"s?
The up-travel limiters we recommend when using 37's limit travel by 1", front and rear. You can run without them if you'd like, but the tires may "clearance themselves" so to speak, on hard landings.

Hi Dusty, for my strickly off-road rim and tire setup I am looking at getting the Method 108 rims the Method website has determined that the 17x9, 6x5.5, -44/3.50 too be the best rim of course that is without knowing my build plan. My goal is to run the 37" Nitto Mud Grappler (true 37"s) and your stage 8 suspension kit. Do you see any clearance issues with the offset they are giving? From the top of your head, what would you think to be a better performance fit?
