  1. Anybody running an ICON Impact Armor front winch bumper?

Just jumping in here to make one small correction. ICON does offer an Adaptive Cruise Control relocation mount to use with this bumper or any other bumper. And of course you could use an ACC relocation bracket from any other manufacturer with our bumper. Carry on.
  2. ICON Alloys, 17" Recon Pro, HALO Rock Ring Kit, Black

Hey Eric, sorry I never saw this post before. I log in here several times a week but I don't see everything unless I'm actually tagged in a post or I get a notification because of activity in a thread I started. I don't get a notification of new threads even if they're in our section of the...
  3. Icon CDEV settings - what do you run? On/Off-Road

Sorry for the delay, I just saw the notification I had been tagged. Anyhow my only personal, real-world experience is that whenever I get into the ICON Bronco I just leave the CDEV settings at whatever they were set at before me. So I can't give you you my favorite settings. I will say that I...
  4. ICON Complete Coilover Suspension Systems (Stages 3 through 8)

Yes, the concern is that they should not have been sent to you in that condition. Please contact ICON customer service and they will replace them.
  5. ICON High Clearance Crash Bar Kit

I'm not aware that there has been a revision to those. I've made an inquiry to our engineering department for clarification, I'll let you know what I find out.
  6. The Ultimate "Travel" Guide - Bronco Suspension Data Compilation

Excellent research and writeup! And I'm sorry you ran into this when you contacted ICON for data: For the life of me, I can't figure out why the CS folks here are still so stingy with that information (I've told them it just makes us look bad when people ask and they give that lame answer)...
  7. 2025 Suspension Recommendations (by Snacktime)

As @CatMonkey pointed out it appears to have everything included in our Stage 5 package.
  8. ICON Tubular Front UCA & Rear Links & Adjustable Track Bar

Well that was 3 years ago and due to CRS I simply do not recall the exact circumstances of that answer when I gave it. It was most likely because I went down to engineering and asked someone and that's what they told me. My best guess now is the difference is due to the maximum bulge in the...
  9. Hoss 3.0 tie rod failure photos

"I installed these Icon wheels and they broke my tie rod...do better ICON!" LOL Seriously though, the wheels look killer on your rig. Get me some pics without it crosseyed and we'll use 'em!
  10. Fox Live Valve vs Icon CDEV

I'll offer my thoughts since I was tagged by the OP but with the caveat that I am no expert on this, even though I work for Icon. I'm just the guy who relays information about new products to this board, so I fully admit that I'm not the best person to conduct an argument about shock technology...
  11. NEW Recon Pro Wheel with Innerlock and HALO Wheel Armor from ICON Alloys

Not that I'm aware of. 17's only in 8-lug, for now. But the 20-inch Rebound looks pretty sexy on the new Super Duty :)
  12. Icon Rear Coilover questions.

On your Question #2, you are correct. Most of our direct-fit coilovers mount shaft-up so I'm guessing the instructions writer just carried that over without editing it. I'm no help on Question #1, as some aftermarket sliders that mount to the frame do want to occupy the same space. But I...
  13. NEW Recon Pro Wheel with Innerlock and HALO Wheel Armor from ICON Alloys

No plans for Recon Pro in bronze. And yes there will be more wheel styles that use the InnerLock system, HALO system, or both. These are universally applicable features that we will integrate into any new wheel design for which it is appropriate.
  14. Actual Wheel Bores for Hubcentric Wheels

The box and packaging materials for a 17" wheel is just under 3 lbs. So you can just subtract 3 from the listed shipping weight for our wheels.
  15. Actual Wheel Bores for Hubcentric Wheels

I'm guessing ours are 95.1 for cross-compatibility with Toyota applications. Does that then make it technically not hub-centric for a 93mm hub? I'm not an expert on it but it would seem so. But we are not alone in that. It seems most wheel manufacturers do the same, to increase compatibility...
  16. Coil Over question - Do I still have a SAS?

I'm not sure what the question was but I'll offer this. We do not make a different coilover for Sasquatch versus non-Sasquatch. The only reason our product descriptions mention Sasquatch is as a reference point for the resulting lift height. That lift height versus stock will be different...
  17. Still going! Icon Tie Rods $240 on Amazon! Be gone Bronco TAX!

Yes there can be scams but in this case it's legit. Those are being sold by us, shipped from our warehouse.
  18. Still going! Icon Tie Rods $240 on Amazon! Be gone Bronco TAX!

They're part of an inventory reduction program that includes a few part numbers across our product lines. Grab 'em while you can because once they've drawn down to whatever their target inventory is, the price goes back.
  19. BD LP6/LP4 bumper mounting ideas

This is true. The engineering guys had intended to offer a bolt-on bar. They came up with a couple of design drawings but none of them looked that appealing, IMO, so I'm glad they didn't actually make it to production. Eventually they moved on to other projects.
