That is 100% your hood stops. Turn them out, counter clockwise until they engage with the hood. A good way to test how well they are hitting is to put a dab of lotion or soap on top of them and close the hood. Then open it and see how much was displaced.
Thanks. I am zero (actually -zero mechanically capable), I will have the dealer fix it. BUt I also have flutter in the middle as well. Will find the best video and attach.

Mine is similar but seems to be more right in front of the hump, so between the front bend and the hump. Seems to flutter on the highway but not lower speeds, as long as the hood stays closed I’ll deal with it.

I think a lot of that could be caused by the hood stops. Worst case scenario they will need to adjust your latch as well.

Thanks. It will get sorted. I waited 523 days for my Bronco and despite a couple of issuesthat will get sorted, I absolutely LOVE this thing.

Update. Glass company installed the cowl wrong on mine after recall. Dealer is warrantying the cowl. Dealer also adjusted the bumpers and the flutter is definitely better. Not perfect yet but at least definitely better. I also have the Aeroskin II so that may have something to do with the air flow.

I’ve seen arguments both for and against the aeroskin causing and or fixing flutter.

Unfortunately this may just be something we have to get used to as manufacturers chase weight savings. This 22 bronco sport I have for a loaner has a bit of flutter at 75+ And I’ve seen it happening on the current gen f150s and mavericks.

UPDATE

Finally got my bronco back on thursday and I am pleased to report that my flutter is noticeably better (i'd say 80% better). It still does it a tiny bit but I can live with it. The new hood also lines up much better than the original one did. It is pretty much flush with the fenders where as the original sat noticeably lower. The gap between the hood and the grill is bigger but is inline with other broncos that were fresh off the truck at my dealer. There is more of the foam sealant in between the layers and the outer shell and honeycomb are much closer together. I also seem to have a few less whistles than I had before. Which is surprising considering they swapped the old hood seal over to the new hood.

The body shop did a great job painting and matching the color, looks factory fresh.

I did have a few issues when they handed me the keys that were quickly resolved.
1. They didn't adjust the bump stops at all for the new hood, i had to bring them up about a 1/3rd of an inch. This caused the hood to have significant movement up and down when latched.
2. My center screen was completely dead. They just pulled it around back and reset it and now it's fine. Just a little worrying since theres a known issue with some of the modules out there.

Overall i am pleased with the results and happy to back in my bronco.

Mine fluttered a bit more with the AeroII installed, but I just screwed the hood screws a bit and all is well.

Mine is produced on 8/15. It came with the insulation material under the hood.
I sometimes cruise around 80mph and I never notice any hood vibration.

I don't think the early Bronco came with the insulation though.
If not, you can get it from Amazon.

It’s an option on certain trim levels, part of the additional sound proofing package.

I considered going that route but I don’t think it would have mattered. There was definitely something wrong with my factory hood. The new hood is 90% better. I only notice some slight fluttering if I’m actively looking for it and even then it’s really only above 80 mph. Plus the new hood sits flush with the fenders, the old one didn’t.

Insulation will have no bearing on the thin metal flexing on hood.

I don't recall a sound proofing package when I ordered my '22 Badlands Lux. Would you mind sharing the Ford part number of that hood insulation? Hopefully it's in an accessible place and not the other side. I've seen IAG makes one but if there's a first party one I'd like to compare.

Also I began really noticing my hood flutter after installing the Aeroskin 2. I have my bump stops at almost their tallest points before they actually come unscrewed and that has helped a lot.

Used the wrong verbiage there, not really a separate “package” but it’s included in the high and lux trims.
