6’ here and do it on the regular. It makes me feel better I’m not the only one. I only notice it when I get out and the chime is going off because I’ve turned the headlights to on instead of auto….again. I do have the manual though and with the clutch throw have to sit a little closer than I normally would.

5’11” and did it a lot at first Now I just do a modified Stanky Leg as I slide out and that helps.

6' here, I drive with the seat all the way back. I have never come close to hitting the light switch.

I thought you guys were nuts then I did it twice in one day. The driver seat seems to end up further forward than where it started after loading the boys on the driver side so I was driving a little closer than usual, which I guess was just enough to catch the switch. One solution for you 3-pedal guys if you want to sit further back... think Short Round!

I have the same issue, I'm 6 feet tall, for the record
So, 5.5' of leg and 0.5 feet torso? 🤷
Lol
I'm 6'1" with long legs and I don't even come close to the dash/headlight switch. My seat is also ALL the way back and probably middle height

When I first got my Bronco I did it once or twice. Then I must’ve adjusted how I get in and out of the Bronco because I don’t hit it any more.

Incidentally, I hit my knee on the switch in my F150 once or twice at first. Then I must’ve made an adjustment because I don’t hit it any longer.

I’m 6’, 34” inseam and skinny so maybe I can swing my legs out easier than others? 🤷🏼‍♂️

I haven't hit the light switch with my knee, but I have caught the hood open lever with my left foot at least 3 times.

I’m 6 foot but it’s not a height issue. It’s a length of your legs issue. I have a short 29 inch leg so I keep the seat base fairly far forward. There’s not much room between the front of the seat and the headlight switch when you get in. Those of you who are 6 foot with longer legs won’t have the problem or even 5 foot 8 people with longer legs.

I'm 5 9, so I have the seat forward and of course I hit the switch and it ended up being on instead of A. fortunately, my neighbor saw the lights still on late at night and came over. I did it again the other day, but I am now aware of the issue. Blatant discrimination by FORD against vertically challenged individuals. Should I sue

How tall are you? Sounds like an issue for giants.
I'm 6'5" and if I move wrong or right depending on your point of view my RIGHT knee will rotate the knob and then my lights are on. And it hurts too.

Not sure how many others have this issue, but I'm constantly changing the headlight mode when I'm getting out of the driver's seat with my knee. It would be great if that knob was flush. Anyone with 3D modeling skills and a printer up for the challenge? I'm thinking of something with an indent like a shuttle/jog dial for video editing.
Same issue over here and for the record, 6'7"

Well, I'm only 5 feet tall and I have done it multiple times! I can mostly avoid it now. I thought it was because my seat is so far forward. :)

I’m vertically challenged at 5’9 so this is a big person problem I will never experience. Take your doors off and get the foot rest for the bottom door hinge, problem solved… while the doors are off
