No judgement either way… this was almost 20 years ago on my H3. I made homemade clamps from pipe hangers with heater hose spacers and quick spin knobs. This was my final configuration after using different variations of the clamp idea in other locations.

Side note about my recent experience with Hi-Lift CS. I had the rubber block break on my Lift-Mate last month at Big Bear Bronco Bash so I contacted CS about it hoping to get a replacement rubber block. They sent me a whole new Lift-Mate that just arrived(y)
Pretty nice 🤠

Lol I just saw a completely decked out Tacoma with all of the overlanding gucci items, complete with the stickers still on them.

That fancy $600 shovel, spotless with the barcode and product detail sticker still on the shovel blade.

Back on topic, yeah we do not have any hi-lift jack points.

My last rig had them built in to the bumpers and sliders.
Although not ideal (and I had to remove the door so that it wouldn’t rub when lifting with the hi-lift), the stock rock sliders are strong enough to support the weight of the vehicle and there’s enough room on the hi-lift plate to place on the sliders. Used it in a pinch to change a tire on the trail. Already saving for an offroad jack or the offroad kit for the 2.5T HF Jack I have.
