Has anyone has their grill replaced? If so did it come all black and require painting. Went to pick up mine today and saw what looked to me as a shit paint job, and the D in ford was not fastned. Just trying to get some idea if my shop is at fault or if there is another item in play here.

See how where the white meets the black it looks like a bad tape job so the white leaked through, and on the D is pulling away from the grill.

I refused delivery and asked them to repair. Am I loco?

I wouldn’t accept that either. Looks awful.
The grille comes primered from Ford, so whoever painted after receiving it just did a shit job.

They taped it in the wrong spot too. Where the white part of the front meets the black, only the small horizontal ledge should be white. Where it turns to vertical again should be black. This is hard to explain verbally, so here is my original factory paint showing that area along with headlight damage before I had my cracked grill plastic-welded and repainted:

Look at where the outer white takes a 90 degree turn inwards and that little horizontal part is also white. But where it goes vertical again, it’s black.

Now here is mine today, repainted months ago. They got the white to black transition in the same place as the original factory paint:
