Hi everyone
I need to replace the driver’s side roof panel on my 2024 2-door heritage edition bronco.

The replacement part is M2DZ-9850285-SAPTM , which would be over $3k with shipping, and would still need to be painted white to match the other roof panels.

A number of sites also have M2DZ-9850285-AA listed as a replacement for the 2024 2door bronco heritage edition like https://ford.oempartsonline.com/oem-parts/ford-rail-assembly-roof-side-m2dz9850285aa
For around $1k with shipping. I understand this would also need to be painted, but significantly cheaper.

I haven’t been able to get confirmation from ford or anywhere on what the difference is between the two.
Can anyone here confirm that m2dz9850285aa does, indeed, fit a 2024 2dr heritage edition ? Or is there something else I should be looking at? I want it to be the hardtop panel, not looking for suggestions for soft tops or anything else.

Getting desperate at this point after a few rainy days here in Seattle, but not desperate enough yet to shell out ~$4k on the replacement. Thank you for any suggestions or confirmation on parts!

Maybe look at some pick a part places. Maybe there is a totalled one around that still has a good roof panel.

For future reference, there's allot of HE specific part numbers on the Heritage wiki, mostly due to diligent work from @Ducati1098

https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/threads/he-heritage-edition-wiki.91504/post-2205412

You do know that we now need the story of why you need one right? Did it fly off or did you drop it?

I was thinking something way more embarrassing. lol. Maybe his blonde wife got frisky at 70mph and needed some headroom. Broncos are panty-droppers after all.

M2DZ-9850285-SAPTM is the correct part number.

M2DZ-9850285-AA is for the MIC top, not MOD top.
Do you happen to know what the PASSENGER PANEL and the POSTERIOR/BACK PANELS part numbers would be? Would they be compatible with a 2DR 2024 Wildtrak?

I’m guessing your asking for Mod top numbers?
Clamshell: M2DZ-98502G33-SAPTM
Passenger top panel: M2DZ-9850284-SAPTM
And yes it’ll fit any 2 door bronco.
