HELP - Rear Parking Sensor(s) Connector

For then win sir thank you after getting frustrated for about an hour I remember the forum for anyone looking there is also a great video on YouTube how to install the factory wiring harness for the oem trailer hitch as well. Some dealers told me 1200 others said 700 it saved me as well
You all just allowed me to go to bed in peace. Same issue. Went inside pissed!!! Jump on here, found the thread. Came back out barefoot and shirtless, sprayed the wd-40, and now have working sensors again!! Thank you all! God Bless!

I had the same issue. Installed the Factory Tow Hitch package on my 2025 Bronco Badlands, and everything went together fine...
...except for the parking sensors and the license plate light connectors in the rear bumper. Couldn't get them to seat and was afraid to force them. Got the same parking sensor errors as described above, and the license plate lamp did not work.
Went down to the auto parts store and taking the the additional advice in the forum due to working with electrical connectors, purchased a two part solution:
WD-40 Contact Cleaner (for electrical parts, quick drying, no residue), cleaned both sides of the connectors with a generous squirt, let dry for 30 seconds.
CRC dielectric grease, a good amount applied into the bumper side connector.
Pushed them together, and they connected without issue. Problem solved, no more errors, sensors alert appropriately, and the license plate is illuminated.
