Forgive me if this has been asked before. I didn't see a definitive answer. I have a base Bronco and was able to pick up a capable bumper with fog lights for super cheap. When I was checking out the capable bumper I saw that it has a plug connector and that got me wondering does my base Bronco have a connector that I can just plug this into or do I need a different solution? If it doesn't have a connector, what is the easiest way to hook up the fog lights? Do I need to install a switch? Has anyone done this to their base bronco? Thanks in advance!!!

One option is to just hook them up to an aux switch, if the Bronc is equipped.

Second option is to install a factory foglight switch, use Forscan to enable it, and wire your light to the C203 connector behind the battery in the fenderwell. Info on this can be found in this thread.

.......be forwarned this thread is BIG, 76 pages big. Best advice I could give you is start at page 76 and go backwards, you can find the info faster.

My '21 BL had a connector to plug fog lights into so your Base may have the same. However, you will need to buy the correct headlight switch that has the fog option and then use FORScan to activate it. So you solutions are:

1. Connect to factory upfitter switch and wiring if optioned
2. Wire up your own upfitter/toggle switch with or without a relay
3. Plug into existing harness, swap factory headlight switch, activate with FORScan

Edit. Baus beat me too it.

Lower models do not have the correct harness up front. I have followed that thread and always read back through to keep up on it. I believe if you have the sensors on the front bumper then the harness is there but no sensors no foglight connector. Easy enough to check, they are right behind the bumper "pad", the part on the end of the frame for the bumper to bolt to. There was like 4 or 5 pages in that thread where people couldn't find the plug and was determined that on Broncs without sensors in the bumper, no connector. All those need to use that C203 connector to access the main harness to make the factory switch work.

I hear "ya Blue!!! Hard to type a big paragraph and get posted while others are doing the same. Had it happen to me many times.:LOL:
