Not my video and I don't take credit for this, but stumbled upon this guy (member here?) installing Sonic Barrier soundproofing material along the edges of his front panels. I know it's not a novel concept, and there have been variations of this fix reported over the years by other members, but none of those actually worked for me. My hardtop had developed quite a bit of chatter in just one year of ownership, I copied what this guy did + applied some high quality silicone lubricant to the seals and it's honestly virtually silent now. Time will tell if it lasts. Thought others might benefit from trying:
