Anyone have/fix this rattle?

I have been trying to track down a faint, but still annoying rattle. It seems to be coming from the rear passenger area and I cannot tell if it is something with the soft top or a panel. While hunting for the rattle I happened across this panel/rattle. It’s more metallic sounding in person and the driver side does not make the noise. I’m not sure if this is what I’ve been hunting for but either way it has my attention now. Has anyone else come across this and if so how many panels do you have to take off to get to and fix it? For reference, this is where the rear crossbar meets the frame. Thanks ahead of time for any help

That piece slips under the trim above the rear door and the plastic piece that houses the dome light. I was lazy and tried to pop it out without taking down any other panels and wound up breaking a tab near the door frame. I thought that was what was making my squeaking noise (almost like Styrofoam rubbing). Put it all back together and it was still squeaking.

So, I sprayed a little lubricant on the soft-top hinge points and I have not heard a peep since.

Breaking tabs is what I’m afraid of which is why I’m researching before hand. It sounds like a piece of metal is between the plastic and frame…but the only way to know is removing the panels.
