Anyone have a fix for squeaky window?

My front widows squeak really bad when it rains (when you raise or lower them)…. It’s really loud and totally annoying and embarrassing. Not that I’m lowering them a bunch in rain but it still shouldn’t happen on a car in this price range. Any advice appreciated.

If it's from the rubber...

Buy some krytox 204 or 205 and apply it sparingly along the rubber that the window seats into and then smear it all over with a finger. Barely any and Itll take care of the squeak. It also works for the seal rubbing against the back window if you have that.

Yes. This. Apply when it squeaks until needed again. Stopped mine immediately and no greasy residue if you apply just enough. Haven’t experimented with their ceramic on window seals yet except on tires which is awesome.

Bumping this because mine is doing the same thing… is the vinyl rubber dressing the fix?

Same here only squeaky when wet. I’m looking at getting some dressing for the top seals and will try it on the door window also. Not sure where you apply it for the window, seems it would be inside in the track that squeak’s

Do some digging on the forum, I had the same issue and found a thread where they discussed an extra seal which I did and it fixed it. Everyone that tried the lube said it worked at first then stopped after a couple weeks. I did this early Feb and it still works great no squeak. I looked real quick for the thread but couldn't find it but here's the seal. It goes on the inside top of the tailgate making the connection point tighter.
