Have the same issue, same latch location. Started happening after 500 miles, now at 3000miles still happening. Holding it with a ziptie till taking it to dealership at 5000 miles.

I have a '24 Wildtrak 4 door. Driver's side rear latch disengaging on its own repeatedly. My dealer submitted to Ford and was told to replace the weatherstripping on the panel. This didn't fix the problem. Heading back to the dealer soon for round 2 (probably the latch next).

Update on this issue - there is now (as of 9/15/25) a TSB issued for dealers to resolve this problem (#25-2433). Looks like maybe there's supposed to be a ball detent which makes the latch stay in place, and in some cases it's undersized. I'll be bringing this to my dealer's attention on my next service visit.

Dealer loctite and re-torque latch. Hope this will do it.
