Gas pedal covee

Not sure if this is a quality control issue or if I’m just missing something. My new bronco has a rubber cover over the brake pedal but has a slick black metal gas pedal. Is this something that was just missed at the factory or was this done on purpose to I don’t know maybe keep your foot from not sliding off the gas pedal easily in an emergency I don’t know. Does everyone else’s Broncos have a rubber cover over the gas pedal?

Sound like it was missed. I have black pads on all three pedals (clutch).

The gas pedal doesn't have a cover, it is just a one piece plastic pedal.
The brake pedal and clutch pedal have a removable rubber cover.

Ah, did not know that. I just assumed the gas had a rubber pad. Odd that his is metal.

It isn't. They only make one gas pedal for the Bronco. It's just a very hard plastic

There are pedal kits out there if it bothers you. They look nice too and finish off the look there.

I double checked, mine is plastic not metal. I guess I was thinking 1980’s. I was thinking about covers too though. Was really just making sure it wasn’t missing. Thanks all
