Weather started cooling down and the issue is back again. Figured I would update this thread. I don't believe my dealer replaced the pedal, and instead just lubricated it with the least effort possible. Been dealing with roof leaks non stop so I'm sure my dealer will be happy to hear there's more issues. I'm tempted to just buy a new pedal and replace it myself, but I'm not knowledgeable on the process.
