Mine crapped out as well. 2022 badlands, 24k miles. Ford dealer said they would get a price and let me know as it's out of warranty. Never heard back. Took it to a mechanic I trust, he calls for for the part. $438.00...seriously? That's crazy. This is something Ford should be fixing. It's obviously not a few cameras

Well the part is $470 retail, which is insane. The front camera for an F250 is $55...

I just got back from the dealership yesterday wanting them to look at the front camera. They're claiming that it revolves around the infotainment screen going black recall that doesn't have a remedy yet and that I'll have to wait until June timing when the fix is out. Sounds like either reprogramming of that module full replacement

That recall is for the whole screen going black due to a potential overheat condition, not just the front camera going black.

Yeah I knew that but I think my dealership is a little incompetent or didn't want to deal with just yet

Just got back from the dealer again from them finishing one of the recalls. I pushed them to look deeper into the camera issue and they did find that the camera module was throwing a fault code and upon diagnosis it was a short in the cable and their fix was adding dielectric grease in the connection at the grill and tape it up, so no replacement of the camera

I would've unplugged and replugged in this connection several times when installing different lights on the grill so this could have contributed to the issue

Time will tell if was the true cause
