Looking at ordering a camping fridge over prime day, lots of different things are on sale. Looking at the BougeRV Rocky series, Wolfbox Dual Zone, the new iceco Alp35, and had been looking at the anker everfrost but it seems really large for the size. Built in battery is a nice selling feature though.

Trying to strike a balance of capacity vs overall size and weight. Looking to fit it in the back of my 4dr for weekend camping.

Anyone have any experience with any of these, or is there something else I should be considering and looking at?

EDIT:
Bonus points if you can post a photo of it in your trunk!

I have a regular BougeRV and it's been decent but it won't run off a parked Bronco very well. I just bought a power station to remedy that.

I've seen the Iceco APL20 up close and I really like it but it's a bit small. The APL35 is going to be shipping soon.

I have the 55 liter Bodegacooler and I like it but most of the time it's just me and it's a little bit too big for one.
So I would say how many people are you needing to feed?
I really like that Anker everfrost with the battery. I wish I had seen it before buying the Bodega.

Right now it’s my wife and toddler, but we usually go camping with family and friends. I think 30-40l would probably do well for us size wise, although some of these have larger capacities just by virtue of being taller, which is nice. I really liked the idea and size of anker 40, but I don’t think it’s fitting in the back of the bronco the way I want it to.

The IceCo VL45 Pro and VL35 Pro fit really nicely in the back of the Bronco. I swapped my VL45 for an EcoFlow glacier because the built-in battery is damn nice. You can use the AC adapter that came with it with the Bronco's inverter port behind the center console. It ain't cheap though, that's for sure.

BougeRV Rocky is a great one. Mine will run 24+ hours in 90 degree temps without affecting the Bronco battery. I have 2 other BouseRV refrigs as well. One I have had for years and has multiple 1,000 hours with never a glitch.

Are you running it with their extra battery pack or just off the cars power?

Turns out I do have the inverter switch I. The center console, which is a nice surprise. Original owner didn’t spec the mid package so I wasn’t sure if it was there.

Also, some quick measurements look like 28.75” is about the max depth I am going to be getting out of the trunk. Does that seem about right?

Just off the Bronco 12v. I just ordered the battery pack this morning with a prime deal. The 53qt BougeRV dual zone that I have in my popup trailer will run for 3 days off my 100AH Lithium battery with 30% charge left. They are super efficient.

Kinda what I’m debating between. Ecoflow is on a solid prime deal as well, but the Rocky with a battery is still about 200 bucks cheaper. And the APL is a bit out. Just discovered the bluetti fridge as well, but they’re pretty proud of it. It’s a little more compact though.

edit: Rocky is actually only about 120 bucks cheaper than the glacier, when buying both with a battery

I just used a new 26 qt Wolfbox and it was awesome for what we need it for. If I was doing more actual camping, I would go a bit bigger unit, but the footprint is the same just taller depending on size. Reviews for it are HERE

Have two wolf box 48s. I've been running 24/7 for over a month.
It's a tight fit in the back of a two-door and the rear seats up with not much room left.
The one by the pool holds ice cream bars at 6° and Frosty cold adult beverages at 30° . No problem.
The one in the truck the same except 36° for cold water.
I keep the windows cracked for some air circulation. It's 102° in Texas today.
