Found an extra wire in rear cargo. Where does this wire go?

I discovered this when I was replacing the drivers side panel in the cargo area. I'm assuming it was not connected to anything. What is this for?

Watching, as I had this wire loose and causing a knocking noise until I found it came loose from the panel it self, the panel has a temporary spot to connect to, so it doesn't rattler around. Also curious what its for.

Probably goes to the PATS antenna. I would need to see the wire colors though

Just saw a similar post in a FB group, guy said his key fob wouldn't work, he found this unplugged after having a tow module installed & when he plugged it back into the module behind the trim panel, his FOB started working again. So I'd say Ducati is correct that it's for the PATS antenna.
