Livinitup has been on this for years now, and he's not alone. These guys have spent the time testing and documenting as many configurations as possible, one at a time. If you spend some time on the relevant F150 forums you'll see what I mean.
I checked with Livnitup. He confirmed that the spreadsheets that enumerate all the configuration options for each module are not the result of people simply testing configurations or comparing asbuilt files.

They are not FORScan locations/addresses. Ford chose the addresses. Ford decided what to put in the addresses. FORScan is just showing you what Ford put into each module.
Are we having a semantics issue? I understand FORScan is not a Ford name/product/process.

Well that means the spreadsheets come from a source that's really, really, really familiar with all the ways to configure Ford modules and all the ways the modules differ.

Well, reading between the lines, looks like I'm wrong (as to source ) and there is a source(s) at Ford. Risky business...

My response to you wasn't that he is the only one on this but he's done a heck of a job for the F150 community.

I'll give you an example. I learned that there are a number of individuals/companies that do custom programming for police/emergency vehicles. Some have greater access to factory data than others. I wanted some tweaking to my GT500 back in 2020 and Ford had just changed assignments for certain addresses and added new ones. I struggled figuring everything out on my own using a comparator to identify where a few given digits needed to be changed. For a fee I paid a guy that did work on LE vehicles. There were certain things that he wouldn't do, ie, enabling entering navigation addresses on the fly. Anyway, he wrote me a file expecting I would use IDS to implement it. I used the comparator, found the changes he made, and then used FORScan to get everything to work. Out of respect, I didn't share. I don't think he does this anymore but you can find others. Ford is VERY cautious to not share but there is no doubt that there are leaks. Regardless, the ball is rolling and there is a plethora of tweaks that are known at this point and out there to pluck from.

Great insight/experience and obviously a counter to the claim that such data comes from Ford.
