Right, but why aren’t previous versions 21-24 available? Local Ford dealer though ‘26 would be later this summer….
Ah - that I did not know. Sorry if I misunderstood what you were saying. Sure hope there isn't an implicit ProCal4 problem...

Thank you for your offer to help.
My search, as far as the ProCal upgrade is concerned, is will there be any big problems, caused by the tune, which will cause those cute little dimples to appear on my hood from a blown engine, or will it burn out the turbos or transmission.
I've fried more than one juice box, and I still don't trust them.
You should have zero issues. ‘25 BRaptor, and all went smooth. Prior to attempting, perform the ProCal Update, to get latest FW on the ProCal; that probably took the longest. Next, perform the backup of stock setup… you’ll have a path to restore to original stock tune if desired.

The ProCal screen was an oddity at first… navigation and acknowledgment to prompts. Get that understood and you’ll have no issues.

For the BRaptor, it provides a noticeable”seat” felt improvement. It improves the Transmission nicely too.

Although I had originally thought (read older versions) ProCal could disable the AutoStartStop feature… that it won’t on new versions. The Raptor Mode can disable it… but that’s still a button push on each start. Add the Auto StartStop 3rd party harness and end the hassle.

Auto stop start could be disabled on 22-23 Raptors, but Ford took that away in 2024. Can’t do it via Forscan either. The harness seems like the simplest path forward to disable the A.S.S for 2024 onward.

My dealer sent me home with the procal because it requires a personal email/password to download the tune. Then they sent me home without the 16-digit passcode. I hooked up the unit and loaded the stock tune. Went to back it up and the device asks if I want to logon. I enter my information and the code and it says wrong email. WTH???

When I bought my 25 Braptor I negotiated the pro tune in the deal. Had them do the install of the factory tune. Runs great. No problems. Boost was to 455 hp. Does get up and go when I need it to.
