Thanks for all the info. I called the parts counter and told them I used points and bought it through ford.com. And they called me back today and said my parts have arrived so either a coincidence or they weren't looking in the right place for 3 months 😜. Going to pick it up after work today.

I have done a couple orders, do it online with discount and points, then have it drop shipped to the local Ford dealer as free shipping just requires me to go get it.

So, I decided to use some of my hard earned ford points and order a couple of accessories (the rear rubber mat and the molle system for the rear tail gate). I ordered a couple of months ago and forgot. Today I was, where is my stuff? So after Ford chat and a call to the dealership, because they can not ship to the house, no status update. They can see the stuff was ordered and that's it. I ask when it might come in and the parts guy said they do not know could be weeks or months depending on availability but said they don't know what availability was and can't find out.

Anyone else have success using ford points to order accessories? I guess if it took 1000 days to get my bronco a few months to get a rubber mat is easy wait.
I've had good luck both ordering online after they allowed points to be used, and ordering from the dealer direct with points (I too bought the cargo cover and like the Ford option one). Good you called the dealer as whenever I order stuff that shows up at a dealership, they never remember to call and tell me it came in despite often promising to do so...

Ford's Online Accessory order system is broken. Ordered an accessory and used my remaining points during the black Friday 25% off sale. Sent to the local dealer so no shipping charge. Had not heard a word. Account still says Order Status: Received. Stopped at the dealer today and lo and behold the order has been sitting there for about 2 weeks. Parts guy said he couldn't email or mark received because according to Ford the part was never shipped. I guess not surprised based on everything else with Ford.

Used my original 200k for slide out tailgate, and then my additional post purchase 42k for a partial payment on tube doors.

I received my points in the FordPass app about 2-3 days after vehicle purchase.

I hate to encourage pestering the dealer, but it is necessary when having items shipped to them. I ordered 2 items recently. How hard can it be for the person at the depot to scan the item and mark it shipped? Seems like a no brainer. If the system in place doesn't allow that, higher up heads should roll. It's 2023, almost 2024, and not rocket science.

You are preaching to the choir. It's absurd, but not surprising, how bad their online accessories distribution is. Just hope that the correct item is shipped as a return with proper credit takes forever. It shouldn't be that hard. But as you mentioned, it is the only way to use the promotional discounts that are offered.

I just ordered a tri-fold bed cover for my Maverick online using FordPass points and it arrived at the dealer in just a couple of days, I was surprised at how quick and Ford even sent me an email telling me it was ready for pickup. My only complaint was none of the local dealers were listed as available for shipment so I had to go to a dealer that was 20 miles away.

So I ordered a roof rack for my wifes' Bronco Sport and that was over a year ago. Even the parts guys are baffled about where is it. When I originally ordered there were none located in Colorado so I understand how you feel./
